DAY 1: WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT
MEMORY VERSE: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things …” John 14:26
The God of the Bible is a Trinitarian God. That is to say, that the Scriptures reveal God as a Trinity. He is God the Father (John 1:18); He is God the Son (John 1:1, 14); and He is God the Holy Spirit (John 16:8). In the New Testament He is referred to as the Spirit of Truth.
The Holy Spirit regenerates us. John 3:1-7
The Holy Spirit indwells us. I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20.
The Holy Spirit assures us of salvation. Romans 8:16
The Holy Spirit seals the believer. Ephesians 1:13
The Holy Spirit teaches us. John 14:26
The Holy Spirit produces fruit in our lives. Galatians 5:22-23
The Holy Spirit gives each Christian spiritual gifts. I Corinthians 12:4-6
