THE WILL OF GOD

The will of God is a deep and sometimes mysterious subject. The Bible is a book of principles and knowing those principles will help us to know the will of God for our lives. All Christians have wrestled with it at one time or another in their lives. The will of God is always revealed in the Word of God. And at times, it is a difficult task.

 

Let me give you 7 words with 7 Scripture references:

 

1.    Knowledge – Romans 2:18

2.    Discernment -- Romans 12:1-2

3.    Purity of life – I Thessalonians 4:3

4.    Thanksgiving – I Thessalonians 5:18

5.    Submission – I Peter 2:15

6.    Peace – I Peter 3:11

7.    Perseverance – Hebrews 10:36

 

The above seven words --- with the references to the will of God --- will do you absolutely NO GOOD unless you take the time to open your Bible and read them for yourself. However, if you will take the time to look these passages up AND actually read them, they will really help you to better know the will of God for your life!
