THE GROWTH OF JESUS
TEXT: “And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom and the favor of God was upon HIm … And Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man.”
Luke 2:40, 52
When you think of Jesus, do you ever think of Him growing up?
From a baby boy into a teenager?
From a teenager into a young man?
From a young man into adulthood?
Culminating in His death at age 33?
The above verses teach us that Jesus grew.
He grew intellectually and mentally.
He grew physically.
He grew spiritually.
He grew socially in His relationships with people.
The Bible is constantly encouraging us to grow in all these areas. Quit being spiritual babies and acting like children but comport ourselves as mature and responsible adults!
What a remarkable journey of growth and development for Jesus this must have been!

What a reminder and challenge the life of Jesus is to all of us! We are to grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord!
