Sanctification? Yes!

 SANCTIFICATION, YES?

Many people today, including some professing Christians, are not the least bit interested in the reality of sanctification. And yet, the Bible makes much of this truth:

John 17:17, 19

I Corinthians 1:30

Ephesians 5:26

I Peter 3:15

Sanctification is part of the total subject of salvation.

It is important and it is a tremendous blessing.

I heard this saying one time and have never forgotten it:

“It is the will of God to have the Spirit of God use the Word of God to make the children of God like the Son of God.”

That is sanctification and God is committed to completing that process in you! Philippians 1:6

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Faithful is He who calls you who also will do it.”  I Thessalonians 5:23-24
