DAY # 5: LORDSHIP IN YOUR LIFE
MEMORY VERSE:
Once you have been regenerated, saved, converted – justified – it is our responsibility to pursue a life of obedience. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2)
The God who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ. That is a direct promise of Philippians 1:6. Salvation is of the Lord. But that does not negate our responsibility to follow Him and seek to live a life of obedience to Him and His Word! We will never be perfect in this life but we are to strive after obedience.
In what areas of your life do you need to work on?
Is it Pride? Attitude? Motivations? Desires? Laziness?
Finances? Possessions?
Family relationships?
Leisure time?
II Corinthians 13:5 says “examine yourselves in the Lord as to whether you are in the faith.”
Is Jesus ruling every area of your life? Why not?
